Oops...a little late...

Okay so I started out great at this whole blog a day thing...but somewhere in there I slipped up! I don't have an excuse really except that we have been lazy enjoying the cold weather.

Sunday

So, this is Sundays pic...

This is pretty much how we looked all day Sunday...and we throughly enjoyed it!

On Monday...

We had a normal day starting out...went to school and spent the day...then the weather started causing problems. So, Baylee's basketball game got cancelled so we settled in for the evening. The kids were so bored they put themselves to bed at 7:30...so, I didn't get a picture for that day...call it laziness!!!

On Tuesday...

YEA!!! The roads were icy so school was postponed until 10 a.m.! We were so excited. We made it to school slipping and sliding all the way, then since it wasn't supposed to get any better they let us go home at 2 that afternoon. Again, we were so pumped. We spent the evening bumming around the house not leaving for anything, and it was terrific! I guess because we stay so busy that a night at home is a rariety, it makes me really enjoy just hanging out with my family. So, Tuesday's pic is...

The kids were really pumped at staying home late this morning...although they look really tired!

On Wednesday...

School didn't start until 10 again this morning because the roads were still pretty slick. So, when it was time we loaded up and headed to school it was still very slick because we hit a few spots where we even slid. We headed home that afternoon and then had supper with the House's at Spanish Inn. It was a great day!

So, Wednesday's pic is....

Landry was thoroughly enjoying 'slipping and sliding' this morning before school, couldn't resist snapping a pic of this!

Day 2 post...

So, today we were extremely busy. Baylee had a game at 8 in Highland and Landry had one at 9 in Snyder, so Bryan and I decided to split up so that at least one of us would be at each game. Bryan so willingly sacrificed and went with Baylee, even though he didn't make it home last night until 11 and he was up and left at 6 this morning (what a great guy!!). So, Baylee's team didn't win, but...SHE SCORED!!! That was her first time to make a goal...I hate that I missed it but hopefully it will be the first of many! Landry's team won, but he didn't make a goal this time, but he did play well.
I spent the rest of the afternoon and evening helping my mom redo her kitchen. Of course I volunteered, I love doing stuff like that! So much fun and tomorrow afternoon it will be totally done (that will be tomorrow's pic).
So, today's pic is another basketball pic, sorry, but when that is all you do, that is all the pics you have! Today's pic...Landry fighting for the ball...

P.S. I promise that Landry is not the only one that I take pics of...more pics of Baylee are on the way...

Life of a Family on the Go...

Well, I am new to the blogging world, I am actually addicted to reading blogs, just not so keen on writing one of my own.
Right now the Ritchey family is in full time basketball mode, Landry is playing Little Dribblers, Baylee is playing on the Hermleigh JH team and Bryan coaches the Hermleigh HS Boys JV & Varsity Basketball teams. And I am the cheerleading mom that accompanies them to all of their games and roots them on to victories (we hope!). So, with all these sports going on we rarely have a dull moment so I decided that I would document this through my blog so that someday I can look back and wonder how I had the energy to keep up!

I am an avid scrapbooker and have been trying to participate in the latest challenge of "Project 365". This is where you take a picture a day and journal about what happened that day in your life or your families, so that is what I decided to accomplish with this blog.

So, for today...

We had the day off from school because of the County Stock show...thank goodness! It was a very needed break. So we enjoyed taking the day easy for the first half, I have come down with a cold so luckily I was able to sleep in this morning and take a nap this afternoon and then Bryan left @ 5 to go to Loraine for a basketball game. Landry has a game @ 6 and then we will head to Loraine when that is over in time to catch the Hermleigh game.

Update...Bryan's boys won their game and Landry's team lost, but he scored a basket...his fourth for the season! yea!!! So, today's pic will be...
He shoots & scores!

Now, off to bed because tomorrow is an early day, you guessed it, more BASKETBALL!!! Baylee plays at 8 in Highland and Landry plays at 9 in Snyder. FUN, FUN!!!!
